Esperides Kallitheas
Esperides Kallitheas was a basketball women club, based in Kallithea, Athens. The club finished its presence at the end of the season 2011-12, and it restarted as women team of the club Ikaros Kallitheas under the name G.S. Ikaros Kallitheas. (Gymnastikos Syllogos Ikaros Kallithea). Esperides was founded in 1995 after merging Esperos Women club, Pantzitzifiakos and Kallithea AE. In 2003 it absorbed the women team of Glyfada B.C. During 2000s, Esperides starred in the championship. It won two championships (2006, 2008) and was the finalist six times (2004, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012). Esperides also won four Women's cups. In 2012, the club was renamed to Ikaros Kallitheas, since was in danger to dissolve because of financial problems.〔〔 In season 2013-14, the new club, GS Ikaros Kallitheas, was relegated and now it plays in A2 Ethniki (second tier)
